Email & campaignsReach your audience from inside krowd: authenticate your sending domain for deliverability, build segments from attendee data, send email and SMS campaigns, and keep your list clean with suppression handling.

Authenticate your sending domain

Before you send, authenticate the domain you send from. krowd gives you DNS records for DKIM, SPF, and DMARC to add at your domain registrar.

Authentication proves to inbox providers that the mail really comes from you. It meaningfully improves deliverability and reduces the chance your campaigns land in spam.

Build segments from attendee data

Segments are saved filters over your attendee records. Because ticket purchases, event history, and email engagement all live on the profile, you can target precisely.

  • Everyone who attended a specific past event.
  • Buyers of a particular ticket type, like VIP holders.
  • People who opened your last campaign but haven't bought yet.
  • Attendees in a given city or who match other profile fields.

Send an email campaign

Compose a campaign, choose a segment or your whole list, and send — or schedule it for later. krowd tracks opens and clicks and writes that engagement back to each attendee's profile, so your next segment is smarter than the last.

Send SMS

For time-sensitive messages like day-of reminders, send SMS through your connected Twilio account. You bring your own Twilio credentials, and texts send to attendees who have a phone number on file.

Suppression list basics

krowd maintains a suppression list so you stay compliant and protect your sender reputation. Unsubscribes, hard bounces, and spam complaints are added automatically and excluded from future sends.

You can review the suppression list at any time. Keeping it honest keeps your deliverability high — sending to people who've opted out hurts every campaign that follows.
