The mobile app
Your box office and volunteers check people in from the krowd mobile app. Everyone signs in with their own account and sees the same event, so you can staff as many entry points as you need.
Scan QR codes
Each ticket carries a unique QR code from the buyer's confirmation. Point the app's scanner at it and krowd verifies the ticket against your records in real time, confirming it's valid and hasn't already been used.
Manual lookup and search
When someone arrives without their code, search by name or email in the app to find their record. You can confirm what they bought and check them in by hand — no need to turn anyone away at the door.
Verify and check in
Whether you scanned or searched, the app shows the attendee and their ticket so you can verify them before admitting. Checking in marks the ticket used so it can't be reused at another entrance.
Live headcount
Check-ins are verified online in real time, so every device sees the same live headcount as people come through the door. Because the app verifies against the server on each scan, the same ticket can't be checked in twice across separate entrances.
